Don Miggs, singer, songwriter and guitarist for the band MiGGS, has the following advice for aspiring musicians: "do not look for lucky breaks. make them. be the only person who could be in that position because you deserve it, you've worked for it and it's who you are. decide if you are a musician or someone who plays music. there is a big difference."  

Cindy BlackmanSince her beginnings as a New York street performer, Cindy Blackman's rising star has been seen by millions of people all over the world performing with her own group, as well as with Lenny Kravitz for ten years. Cindy has also released a music education video, Multiplicity.

Josh RosemanTrombonist and composer Josh Roseman has eclectic musical leanings that include jazz, funk and groove. His advice: "Be relentless, ambitious, demanding, listen and take very good care of each other. When you find something that sustains you, drink deeply, make it a part of yourself and prepare your response."
